North East Scooterists Collective

Keeping scootering in the North East
going under difficult circumstances

The beginnings

The North East Scooterists Collective was established on 02 August 2020 following a series of Meet-Ups of scooterists all over the region during the CV19 Pandemic. All major scootering events across the country had been cancelled and the only manner of maintaining a social connection between Scooterists and Scooter Clubs in the region, was to seize the initiative and exploit the fact that at this time the only safe form of social distancing was achieved on two wheels. A meet-up and ride into Redcar was set and on Sunday 02 Aug 20, some 250 plus scooterists turned up at Wolviston Services on the A19 and proudly rode into Redcar seafront en-mass. The collective was born! 
An ‘Esprit De Core' was quickly established amongst all and the momentum and desire for a regional collective of scooterists and scooter clubs has seen the collective go from strength to strength.

Our Aims

1. To promote and support scootering in the North East of England and the wider United Kingdom.


2. To bring together solo riders and club members through regular meet-ups and ride outs as well as other events.


3. To provide communication through this website and facebook discussion group, help, advice, support and information that will enable all to maintain a collective approach to scootering in the North East.


4. To actively support all National Organisations, Affiliations and Collectives, NE Scooter Clubs and Solo Scooterists and business that is supportive to the scene.


5. To welcome Scooterists old and new who ride many different scooters from classic 2-Stokes to the modern 4-Stroke geared/automatics, electric and other hybrid type scooters. 


6. Support Charitable causes throughout the region.
